With the onset of peer pressure, social environments, and other challenges facing today’s teenagers, drugs and alcohol have become one of the driving results that plague America’s youth. Studies show early intervention is crucial in preventing future long term addiction. 417 Recovery is a 12 step based program designed to help adolescents achieve sobriety and life a healthy lifestyle.

Co-occurring Disorders (Dual Diagnosis) refers to a drug and/or alcohol problem coupled with a mental health disorder. 417 is designed to help the adolescent address both conditions while in treatment. 417 Recovery staff includes Dr. Alejandro Alva, Psychiatrist MD, who meets with each client regularly ti ensure their stability. Dr. Alva specializes in co-occurring disorders including but not limited to: generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, ADD/ADHD, and bipolar disorder.

Although mood swings are common during adolescents, approximately one in five adolescents has a diagnosable mental health disorder. We offer individualized care to teens who struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, suicidal thoughts, anger, self-harming behavior, ADD/ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
