Jessica Horning, PA-C is a nationally board-certified physician assistant at Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists. Jess graduated first from The Master’s University located in her hometown of Santa Clarita, California with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She later briefly relocated to Riverside to attend California Baptist University, acquiring a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Jess is trained to diagnose, manage, and treat patients with various psychiatric conditions. Jess looks forward to every new patient she sees and views it as an opportunity to discover how she can best tailor each treatment plan to her individual patient’s needs and values. People often comment on Jess’s happy, bubbly personality which she views as an asset in her work.
Kayla completed her undergraduate work at the University of Idaho and earned her Master’s degree in clinical social work at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She has experience working with children, families and adults at multiple levels of care including intensive in-home, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. Kayla uses a strengths based approach to help clients reach their potential and achieve their recovery goals.Â
Connor completed his undergraduate work at Wheaton College, Massachusetts and his Master's degree in social work at Salem State University. He has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults as well as families. He utilizes traditional modalities of therapy while taking an expressive-arts vantage point in the healing process.Â
Nicholas currently attends at Christian Institute to be a Certified Substance Abuse and Alcohol Counselor. With previous experience working in mental health, and substance abuse with adults. Nicholas will be there to guide each family through the admission process, as well as helping around the facility with family questions.
